Fellowship Outreach

This committee is responsible for reaching out into the community to draw people into the life of this congregation, and reaching in to support activities that help connect members and friends through Sunday morning hospitality, special events, small groups, church meals and other opportunities.  There is one sub-committee responsible for the planning and organization of the annual church retreat.

The committee oversees all church communications both in house (Temple Tidings, all church publications and ministry brochures) and any outside advertising or publicity (website and postcards) to the larger community.  The committee works with Session committees to ensure bulletin boards are updated and is responsible for information displayed in the Sanctuary narthex, church hallways and the visitors table following worship (visitor packets).

The committee works with the pastor on follow up calls and letters to visitors and provides members and friends with name badges.  They are responsible for supporting the pastor with New Member workshops and receptions.
