Who We Are

We are called to be Christ's partners in reconciliation, sharing the good news of God's radically inclusive, welcoming love.

As a More Light Presbyterian congregation, we strive to provide a welcome for LGBTQIA+ people.
As a multicultural community, we are intentional about living as the Beloved Community.
As a multi-age family, we recognize the gifts children and youth bring to worship and community life.

upcoming events

In April the church moves through the Lenten season preparing for Holy Week. On Palm Sunday, April 14, we welcome Jane Doty MacKenzie to the pulpit. Good Friday Tenebrae is at 7 p.m. in the Sanctuary with readings, music and the gradual diminishing of candlelight in the sanctuary to symbolize Christ’s journey to the cross. Interim Pastor, Rev. Jeff Kunkel shares a reflection. On Easter Sunday we celebrate a new creation in Christ with special music and joyful worship. This is followed at 11:15 a.m. with an Easter Egg Hunt on the Broadway lawn.

Upcoming Events

4/18 - SEDER DINNER IN HALL

Plan to join others for a unique program that honors our Judaic roots with responsive readings and a Seder meal at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Cost is on a sliding scale from $5 to $15 per person donation as you are able. Following the program the group moves from the hall to the sanctuary for communion in the Christian tradition.

4/19 - 7 P.M. GOOD FRIDAY TENEBRAE

At 7 p.m. join with others to reflect on that first Friday through readings, song, music and prayer. This is a solemn, reflective service where candles are slowly extinguished after each reading to symbolize the approaching darkness of Jesus’ death.

4/21 - 10 A.M. EASTER SUNDAY AND EGG HUNT FOR CHILDREN

At 10:00 a.m. come and celebrate Easter Sunday with the congregation. Following a joyful service the younger members and friends are invited to search for eggs on the Broadway lawn weather permitting! If rain, the hunt will take place in the sanctuary.

5/5 - 11:30 A.M. PARENT LUNCH AND CONVERSATION

Join with other parents, caregivers and guardians of children for conversation about parenting and how this faith community can work with them on nurturing children’s spiritual lives.
